Background information
This page offers background on Zeredi for anyone who happens to land here while writing about the project or checking a detail. It is not a claim of press attention or an announcement of a launched product.
Zeredi, in brief
Zeredi is an app in development exploring a simple idea: we are not one fixed profile. Different situations bring different sides of us forward. The aim is a calmer, more personal digital space, with room for what matters to each person. The waitlist shares that ambition through writing, artwork, and a small glimpse of the app's design.
Why does it matter today?
As apps and AI become part of everyday life, we keep returning to a human question: can technology be useful without reducing someone to a fixed profile or asking them to explain everything about themselves?
Zeredi explores what it could feel like to be better understood while keeping the choice of what to express, and what to keep to yourself. That is an ambition, not a prescribed way every app or AI should work.
The app is in development. Third-party app and AI-agent connections are not currently available.
A big north star. Foundations first.
Zeredi's north star is ambitious, and we cannot build every feature we imagine at once. Not everything in that vision will necessarily be realized. What matters most is getting the foundations right:
- Who are you?
- What do you want to share?
- Who do you want to have access to it?
These questions guide what we build first. The broader vision gives us a direction, not a promise of every feature. A person's ability to express themselves and decide what others can access comes before expanding the app.
Room for the different sides of you.
Information theory helped inspire the idea of Signcards: making room for something meaningful without trying to describe a whole person.
Avatars and Signcards are part of how we are exploring personal expression. The idea starts with the things you choose to say about yourself, not an assumption that one profile can capture everything.
If you can lay it out in a spreadsheet, it is probably Signcard-able. It is a starting point for imagining the possibilities, not a fixed list of what a card must contain.
Expressing something about yourself should not mean sharing it with everyone. Your choices about access matter.
What guides the approach?
We start with the person, not a prediction of who they must be. People should have room to express what matters, change their minds, and decide what they want others to know.
We imagine technology making everyday coordination feel more considerate, with less repetition and more room for attention and connection. There are many possible ways to pursue that ambition; we are still exploring ours.
This is a direction, not a promise of particular features or integrations.
Not just people. Pets, too.
The wider vision leaves room to think beyond an individual profile, including the animals we care for. What could it mean for technology to recognize that care, too?
A pet is one reminder that the things that matter to us do not fit neatly into one person's profile. That opens questions worth exploring, rather than prescribing a pet feature.
This is an inspiration for the broader vision, not a currently available pet capability or a committed release date.
What is public today
- A standalone waitlist website that records interest, not reserved places or guaranteed early access.
- Journal articles, engineering concept pages, and shareable artwork that explain the direction.
Where the idea began
Zeredi began with questions about identity, change, and what it means to be understood in an AI-centered world. Ideas about the multiverse, the ego, and personal transformation offered inspiration, not scientific claims or predictions. They led to a simple thought: we are not one profile. We change over time, and different situations bring different parts of us forward.
How does AI fit into Zeredi?
We imagine AI that can offer thoughtful help without needing your whole life story. There are many ways that could take shape. Our interest is in assistance that leaves room for your own words, changing preferences, and decisions.
A suggestion is not your decision. Understanding what you like should not automatically authorize purchases, bookings, or sharing. Useful help should respect the boundaries you choose.
These are principles guiding our exploration, not currently available external-agent integrations. External AI-agent connections are not available today and will not be open at launch. No providers, protocols, or release dates are committed.
What not to mistake for a launch
- Signcards, avatars, and the engineering pages describe a product direction, not generally available capabilities.
- App screens are design illustrations. Public demos and creator-kit mockups are not evidence of a working released product, customer adoption, or an endorsement.
- Mobile Lite has a target launch window of November–December 2026, not a guaranteed release date. Desktop remains exploratory; neither Desktop nor the broader app vision has a committed launch date.
Visuals and background
The Assets page offers public artwork and printable bookmarks. Preserve development disclosures when sharing visuals. Please label app screens as design illustrations and demos as scripted previews; don’t present them as live product footage. Creator-kit layouts are concept previews, not downloadable press images.
